Plastic elimination floor of mouth defects platysma myocutaneous flap

Summary. Retrospective analysis of reconstructive treatment has been performed in 23 patients with floor of mouth cancer stages II–IV. It is shown that the application of platysma myocutaneous flap allows to solve the problem of plastic elimination of small and medium postoperative defects of floor of mouth. High rates of flap survival functional rehabilitation and minimal disturbances in donor area have been noted.
