Secondary CNS involvement in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: challenges, achievements, promises

Summary. Secondary central nervous system (CNS) involvement is rare (2–9%) but serious complication of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The search of effective methods of diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment improvement in patients with CNS involvement is an aim of numerous studies around the world. The article contains literature review and algorithm of the diagnosis and treatment of secondary CNS involvement in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients.
