Venous thromboembolism in patients with cancer

Summary. By frequent complication patients with the diseases of tumours have venous thromboembolism. Venous thromboembolism is the independent negative factor of prognosis in patients with a cancer, multiplying probability of death for these patients. Warning of development of venous thromboembolism is one of important steps for multiplying survivability of patients with a cancer. Recommendations of ASCO and NCCN of the prophylaxis of thromboembolism depending on a clinical situation are resulted in the article.
