Primary CNS Lymphomas: from scientific researches to daily practice

Summary. Though PCNSL is a rare type of NHL, the constant increasing of morbidity is observed. The absence of clear therapy algorithms and low survival rates together with treatment sensitivity cause high interest of scientists from different countries to PCNSL. This article is about historical aspects and recent researches in the field of PCNSL.
