Summary. Traditionally, breast cancer has not been considered as a typical immunogenic tumor type. Nevertheless, it is well known that breast cancer is a heterogeneous mixture of different molecular subtypes and infiltration of tumor tissue by immunocompetent cells is associated with response to chemotherapy and survival in a certain molecular subtypes of breast cancer. Preliminary results of the study indicate that, immune markers, should be used to stratify risk groups prognostically unfavorable types of breast cancer as well as use as a factor in predicting the effectiveness therapy and chemotherapy.
