Summary. Neuroblastoma (NB) — a malignant tumor of the sympathetic nervous system of embryonic origin, is one of the most common solid tumor in children and is third place in the structure of children’s oncological morbidity. During the period from 2008 to 2013 in the research department of pediatric oncology generally treated 152 patients with NB, including surgical treatment of 76 patients. A retrospective analysis of treatment outcomes, local recurrence of the primary tumor arose in 8 (11%) of patients after surgical treatment, of which: 3 patients with primary-metastatic NB, a 4 patients — with III-stage disease and in 1 case — II stage. So, surgical treatment of patients with NB is an important step in treatment and requires further study considering biological features of the tumor and the holding of individualization of treatment with the definition of time and the extent of surgical treatment.
