Prognostic factors of gastrointestinal chemotherapy toxicity in patients with breast cancer

Summary. With development of chemotherapy, introduction to practice of a number of new antineoplastic drugs and improvement of treatment results, the problem of life quality of oncological patients became topical, especially — in the course of chemotherapy. Many anticancer drugs have toxic effects on the gastrointestinal tract, causing the development of nausea, vomiting, mucositis, diarrhea, constipation. Nausea and vomiting are the most common toxic complications of chemotherapy, not the most dangerous for life, however, significantly impair patients’ life quality and often are the reason for refusal of treatment.
