Reconstructive restorative operations in advanced head and neck cancer surgery

Summmary. The main purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of various vascularised tissue complexes in relation to defects of face, neck, oral cavity and oropharynx after combined-advanced surgical procedures in 202 patients with locally advanced malignant head and neck tumors. Different skin-muscle flaps, complexes of tissue on vascular pedicle, free microsurgical tissue transplantation were used as the plastic material. Adapting to the results of reconstructive operations was found in 86,4% of patients with good cosmetic and functional results.
