Local complications of chemotherapy: toxic phlebitis and extravasations

Summary. This article represents literature review on development, diagnosis and treatment of toxic phlebitis and cytotoxic drugs extravasations. Own experience is represented also. Local complications of chemotherapy were detected often enough (till 15%) and are serious complications of the treatment. They could lead to the decrease of the edictiveness of the chemotherapy and require of active treatment and prophylaxis.
