The journal «Clinical Oncology» is indexed in the abstract databases Index Copernicus International, Ulrichsweb, Open Ukrainian Citation Index (OUCI), CrossRef, Wikidata, Google Scholar (Google Academy), BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, and the «Ukrainika Naukova» abstract database.
Index Copernicus is an international scientometric platform (Poland, 1999) that indexes scientific journals and provides tools for assessing their impact. Inclusion in Index Copernicus enhances a publication’s visibility within the international scientific community and confirms its compliance with quality standards.
Open Ukrainian Citation Index (OUCI) is a Ukrainian citation database based on Crossref open data. It displays the citation rate of journal articles in other publications, enhances the visibility of journals in international search engines (Dimensions, Lens.org, Scilit), and contributes to improving the metadata quality of Ukrainian scientific journals.
CrossRef is an international association of scientific publishers that operates the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) system. Membership in CrossRef allows assigning a unique digital identifier to each article, which guarantees permanent access to the publication and is a prerequisite for indexing in leading international databases.
Wikidata is an open, multilingual structured database managed by the Wikimedia Foundation. A journal’s presence in Wikidata ensures its recognition within the global information ecosystem, as its data is utilized by Wikipedia and numerous scholarly services worldwide.
Google Scholar is the world’s most widely used search engine for academic literature. Indexing in Google Scholar ensures maximum accessibility of journal articles for researchers and practitioners, making publications discoverable alongside citation data and full texts.
BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) is one of the world’s largest search engines specialized in open access scholarly documents, operating on the OAI-PMH protocol. Indexing in BASE expands the journal’s international audience by reaching researchers who utilize open scientific repositories.
The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine is the state’s primary scientific and information center and ranks among the top twenty largest national libraries in the world. In accordance with Ukrainian legislation, electronic versions of all professional scientific journals are placed on the library’s official website, ensuring their long-term archiving and public accessibility.
The Ukrainika Naukova abstract database is a nationwide abstract database of scientific publications, jointly created by the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and the Institute for Information Recording of the NAS of Ukraine since 1998. It is the only universal database in Ukraine containing bibliographic descriptions and abstract information on domestic scientific publications across all fields of knowledge. The database is updated twice a month, adding 3.5 to 4 thousand records monthly. The inclusion of a journal in ‘Ukrainika Naukova’ ensures the archiving and systematization of its publications in the country’s primary state scientific and information resource, increases article accessibility for researchers, and confirms the publication’s status as a full member of the national scientific space.
