Summary. Pancreaticoduodenal resection (PDR) is a radical surgical treatment for neoplasms of the periampullary zone. We observed 169 patients who underwent PDR. Of these — 39 patients underwent hybrid PDR. Laparoscopic PDR did not differ statistically in terms of duration (6 hours 40 minutes), while in the open group it was 6 hours 0 minutes (p=0.08). Intraoperative blood loss during laparoscopic resections ranged from 50 to 750 ml; averaging 310±350 ml; in open resections — blood loss was greater (100–900 ml, average 400±400 ml) although the medians did not differ significantly (310 ml vs 400 ml, p=0.15). The overall incidence of complications did not differ significantly in the hybrid pancreaticoduodenal resection group (45%) versus open pancreaticoduodenal resection (39%). No Comments » Add your |
