Systemic treatment of locally advanced and metastatic EGFR-mutated NSCLC. What’s new?

Summary. On March 19–20, 2026, the scientific and practical conference «Lung Cancer — Comprehensive Treatment» (the 4th School of Thoracic Surgeons of Ukraine) was held at the conference hall of the Multidisciplinary Medical Institution Saint Luke Hospital | Acinus (Kropyvnytskyi, 65 Velyka Perspektyvna str.). The event was organized under the auspices of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS) and with the organizational and media support of the Medical Education Platform. As part of the conference, and with the support of the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, participants attended a presentation entitled «Systemic Treatment of Locally Advanced and Metastatic EGFR-Mutated NSCLC. What’s New?» The presentation was delivered by Serhii Prytuliak, head of the Thoracic Surgery Center at the Podillia Regional Oncology Center (Vinnytsia), PhD in Medical Sciences, and Senior Thoracic Oncologic Surgeon. His lecture focused on contemporary approaches to the treatment of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
