Summary. The article presents the results of the audit of the implementation of the protocol of enhanced recovery after operations in the surgical treatment of gastric cancer at the National Cancer Institute. It is shown that the level of performance of its components in the surgical treatment of gastric cancer in the National Cancer Institute is 60%. Compliance with the ERAS protocol depends on 4 factors related to both the professional level of the medical staff and the provision of the medical institution with technical, financial and human resources, as well as the individual characteristics of each patient. The interaction of these factors has a decisive influence on the implementation of all components of the protocol. Effective communication of all participants in the treatment process also plays an important role. Improving the implementation of the accelerated recovery protocol after operations requires periodic audits as part of this program.
